PURPOSE
Aesthetics Research Lab translates the history of aesthetics into contemporary cultural and organizational insight. Its goal is to clarify aesthetic experience, so that its influence—already present whether acknowledged or not—can be engaged intentionally.
APPROACH
Aesthetics Research Lab was founded in 2016 by Dr. Michael Spicher. A philosopher by training, he has devoted more than two decades to the study and practice of aesthetics as a formative force in human life, culture, and decision-making. This work takes three interconnected forms: Aesthetics Research Lab as a public research practice; consulting, where aesthetic insight is applied within organizations to shape collective judgment and decision-making; and philosophical counseling, where the same thinking is explored one-on-one in support of individual reflection, clarity, and lived application.
